John,
I was able to get VPN (PPTP) to work from my win98 system without making any
changes to the ShareTheNet configuration. I have a TimeWarner RoadRunner
cablemodem connection to the Net.

I can run Outlook98 using the Exchange server at work. When I surf the net,
it goes through work.

The only problem I have is that I haven't been able to "map" a network drive
from my NT workstation to my PC at home. Other people at work can do it
(without STN), but I can't. I have no idea if it's related to STN.
Logically, it shouldn't be, since once the VPN connection is set up, anything
should be able to pass through.

Hope this helps.
Dave.

P.S.: If anyone knows of a solution to "mapping a network drive", let me
know.
