Hi people!
Here is something for those of us who are trying HD installs of this
beastie - and may not be enjoying the success we feel we deserve!
The only hard disk supported is "hda1".
Translation:
1. It -MUST- be an IDE/EIDE drive. "hd"
2. It -MUST- be the first drive in the chain, (i.e. "master" on
"primary" channel.) "hda"
3. It -MUST- be located within the -FIRST- partition on this drive.
"hda1"
If you try to place it on any other drive type (such as SCSI), or on
anything other than the first partition of the primary drive on the
primary controller - yer hozed! (actually, it boots the kernel, but
bombs because it cannot find the ENVI file.)
