OK, I gave up on getting the DynDns clients (DDNS) working under STN and bit the bullet and joined TJNS. The TJNS setup under STN is (I feel) a bit confusing since where it says Name you really have to put the full name of your machine (eg toby.dyn.tj) and put your login name in "login". Perhaps something in the help would clarify this (an example would be great). However, I have noticed one irritating aspect .... The first time you boot the STN box - it doesnt change the IP address!!! Second and subsequent boots it does it automaticaly. I am getting around it at the moment by manualy altering the IP address at TJ after the initial boot - but it is a pain.
