I think it must be the floppy drive, or the controller. I did, indeed,
forget about the mount/unmount business. But I rebuild a brand new STN disk
and without yanking it out, it has come up with these errors twice so far
since yesterday.

There is a couple of interesting messages I see on occassion:

bread in fat_access failed

and

fat_free: skipped EOF

I guess some programmer was dieting when he wrote these error messages :)
