For what it is worth, I used a monitor on my STN box for a few days
and watched some error messages scroll by. I didn't worry about them
because everything works fine. I have been using STN for a long time
without a monitor connected to it, so I was not aware of any error
messages. So I disconnected the monitor and feel unconcerned about
error messages and it works fine, as before.
