Are you running Apache on your STN box, somehow? If so, that is why.
Setting Apache to not listen to port 8080 will correct that.
Otherwise, you must have the HTTPD connection to your STN box from
your internal network forwarded to a box with Apache running on it,
and it accepts connection requests for port 8080 as an addition to
listening to port 80 alone. STN may be forwarding your connection
request to your client machine from which you are connecting. Check
to make sure that the internal connection is not forwarded to Apache.
If you are forwarding external requests to Apache as a server for
the internet, you may have set interenal forwarding as well.
