[To topica list] Weird one. Built three separate STN diskettes with a slightly new configuration. None of them worked - the boot bailed with "can't find configuration file - no envi or *.stn". I loaded the diskette up into another Un*x box, and "envi" was their plain as day. On a whim, I copied it to "xxx.stn" (leaving envi as it)...and lo and behold, that worked. Found "xxx.stn", used it as a config file, and we were off to the races. Do we have a subtle timing problem here during the boot where an file can't be found? I seem to recall something like this happening to me before this (where STN couldn't find a file that was clearly there). Thoughts, anyone? -D --- Sponsor's Message -------------------------------------- Stop missing calls when online - Sprint Internet Call Waiting(sm) is FREE 6 months when you sign up for Sprint Nickel Nights(sm).
