I kinda feel stoopid for asking in this forum, but I'm not certain I
understand the process STN uses when booting. It's not exactly Sys V, and
I'm not sure how all this works.
Here's the problem: I want to announce to dynip.com my IP address when STN
establishes a connection, somewhat like the built-in TZO tools do.
A couple of things.
1. The tool to do this is called 'dynipclient' (note, more than 8
characters)
2. The config file is defined to live "somewhere" at compile time. So while
I could put it anywhere, I have to know where that place is while compiling
the 'dynipclient'
3. I have to roll it in to initrd.gz SOMEHOW so it'll happen every time.
Naturallly I'd prefer to do all this on a floppy, (the binary files will fit
on there just fine) but hard drive is OK.
I'm familiar with linux, just not the inner workings of STN.
