No need to get snippy.

I'd like to know what you had to do, perhaps I can get it to work with the
2.0 kernel in the current version of STN. If not, I can be sure to add it
as an option in the next version.

Yes, I know I keep threatening a new version of STN and to date no new
version has seen the light of day. That will change in the next few months
(really!), I've actually done a lot of work related to STN recently, and am
laying the groundwork for a really great new version.

Just so everyone doesn't think I've died or dropped off the face of the
earth, here is what I've been working on in the last year:

- A Linux based IPSEC router based on Free/SWAN. It works just great and
has some super features especially useful to ASPs, but I currently don't
have a distribution scheme for it. I can't fit it on a floppy diskette
(it's about 5meg), so a STN style distribution probably won't work.

- Another Linux based router for a large networking company based on the
ARM7.

- I've been writing a book called Embedded Linux for New Rider's publishing.
It's due 2nd quarter next year -- you can actually see it on Amazon.com
already.

- An embedded Linux build environment called the Embedded Linux Workshop.
It will be part of the book.

- An article for LinuxDevices.com on a great little box that actually would
work well as a STN box. Check it out at
http://www.linuxdevices.com/articles/AT6003080606.html

- A follow-up article that describes how to use the DiskOnChip that comes
included with the above box.

All this while working as a full time software engineer at a company only
marginally involved in Linux!

A new version of STN will be available soon, if David is able to provide
details on how to allow IPSEC pass-thru, then that will be part of it.
