I've been promising 3.0 for awhile now. I thought I'd give a little status
update.

I'm working on STN 3.0 weekly now. Unfortunately, there is one big sticking
point:

Along with the rest of the Linux world, I've converted over to the new glibc
and Linux 2.2 (although I'm looking at 2.4 for the QoS stuff). The big snag
is glibc is way bigger than the old libc5, so I can't fit STN on a diskette
anymore. I know that some people don't have a problem with that, but I'm
not willing to give up. I'm converting over to the uClibc library, which
will allow me to fit lots more on the floppy than I could even with 2.1, but
it takes time.

Thank you,
John
