Jochem,
You've got me puzzled: Part of the setup asks if the 'second'
connection is to a modem or something else (network, etc.)
If you pick the 'non-modem' option - it gives you a screen where you
configure the 2nd NIC - now you didn't select something like "roadrunner
login", did you?
With my setup, I set up the external network (either static or DHCP) and
it works.
The only cavaet is that with DHCP on the external side - sometimes it
does not initially negotiate the lease correctly, and it then just hangs
there seemingly forever. If it begins to time - I reboot the machine
and on the second try through it usually works. This, however is most
emphatically -NOT- a "STN" problem, as my Windows boxes all do the same
thing if -they- are connected....
