You aren't very specific. I could not make my cable modem
work untill I enabled DNS under options. I discovered after
some trial and error, that I could telnet to a known IP address
but I could not get IP's by using names in a web browser, this
would indicate not finding a DNS server, from there I just tried
any variation from what I had for DNS config and eventually got
there. This was after I went through much grief trying to get some
NIC cards that I had appropriate drivers for.
It took me about 4 days to make mine work, but it's been rock solid
since Dec 2000. I've never had to reboot it. So, you might want
to play with DNS settings.
Let us in on what your problem is exactly and maybe we can give you a
better answer.
