Ian,
We may have had our words in the past. . . but you have hit the nail on
the head! One experiment I begain was to try to combine STN with the
latest-and-greatest kernel builds (and I got busy at work so...)
I would ask for two things in a new version:
(1) The ability to use a newer kernel if it has a feature you need.
(2) The ability to "bind" services that do not come stock. Maybe
everyone does not need XDMCP or inbound VPN, (or whatever), but if the
advanced user could bind these services on an as-needed basis, this
would provide a much needed extensibility to what is a very good
product.
Think about it, OK?
