May seem like an obvious answer to some. I don't have the luxury of trial
and error, and need to know this for sure before I proceed.

I'm setting up a subnetwork and I want it to use IP masquerading. Of course
the FAQ page gives the directions for this, and I can follow directions. But
I need a clarification. In the line below, is the subnet mask for the
100.0.0.0 network or the 192.168.0.0 network?

     route add -net 100.0.0.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.102

For my network I'm going to use:

     route add -net 192.0.0.0 netmask x.x.x.x 172.16.0.2

So my question is, do I use a netmas of 255.255.0.0 or 255.255.255.0? My
guess is that I should use 255.255.0.0
