Your ISP blocks ports below 1024??? This does not make sense. Were that true - you'd be hozed for http browsing on :80, HTTP and FTP downloads off of the internet - not to mention things like POP and SMTP mail, dialpad, AIM (GAK!), netmeeting, ICQ, and so on..... You sure this isn't a "job" related "isp"?
