Yes, the handling of the /etc/mnttab file has changed with Solaris 8. We
currently don't have binaries for this OS version, but you can compile
Sharity from the sources. Just add '-DSOLARIS8' as explained in
Makefile.config.
You don't need GTK since you only need to compile a new daemon which can run
with the old commandline tools and GUI. Just replace the daemon binary with
the newly compiled one.
If you can't compile from the sources (e.g. if you have no compiler) please
tell me and I'll see what we can do.
