I found out why I couldn't browse, my /usr/local/sharity/var/cfgdb.ppl file was missing. I copied it from a Tru64 box that I had sharity installed on and made appropriate changes.(different workgroup)
Don't know why it was missing...? Everything is working great now! trev -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Trevor Osatchuk Sent: Friday, November 02, 2001 2:37 PM To: 'Sharity Mailing List (E-mail)' Subject: Sharity error on ls in /CIFS When logged in as a regular user I did an ls in the /CIFS directory and there were no hosts. When I su'd to root and did an ls I got: ls: .: Input/output error Sharity is running on FreeBSD 4.4 and my Windows hosts are all WinME. I can mount shares without any problems, but I cannot browse. But what I really want to know is why do I get an error logged in as root and just see an empty directory logged in as a regular user? Trevor Osatchuk Process Solutions Canada Ltd.
