You say that you have a couple of OS X machines with the same configuration
and browsing works on some of them and not on others. Some questions:
- Are you really sure the configurations are equal?
- Are all computers on the same subnet or are they separated by routers?
- Can you find any kind of pattern in which computers can browse and which
not?
In any case, we have a section about browsing problems in the manual (see
the "troubleshooting" chapter) and an entry in the knowledge base.
