Sorry, but what is Solaris 4? There was a SunOS 4, but not Solaris, as far
as I know...
What does
uname -a
print on your machine?

We are not aware of any bug in the current release which can cause data
corruption. And there is no option which can cause it.

No. You are asked all relevant questions during installation.

These are only in the original sharity.cfg file in the distribution. They
are replaced by the values you entered by the install script.

You should not need to configure more than what you are asked during

This would indicate that the localisation during installation did not work,
or you copied the original sharity.cfg file from the distribution package
over the localized one.

Yes, sorry. This is a bug. It is still not fixed in this release, although
it should have been. Luckily it's harmless if you have no more than one
network interface. It only causes these loggings.

Please re-install to make sure that sharity.cfg is localized correctly. If
the problem persists, please mail me a file along with the garbled version
for analysis.
