Since you are happy with 2.4b8, there is no reason to bother. BUT: Did
anybody else experience problems with the IRIX binaries? We did not receive
any complaints so far (except from Brian, of course).

DON'T DO THAT! Sharity will not work if you provide the IP address instead
of the name. Sharity NEEDS to know both, the name AND the IP address. If you
give only the address, it does not know the name and therefore can't
connect.

If you want to connect by IP address, please add a new entry in the "CIFS
Servers" section of the GUI. You can specify the name when you create the
entry and set the IP address (in expert mode) for this entry.

That should be

    cifslogin YOUR-PC

instead. Only the computer name, no slashes.
