I just recently compiled Sharity on a Linux server after our SUN hardware
finally bit the dust. Everything seems to be functioning fine except that I
keep seeing the following two lines in my logs:
Mar 16 05:21:45 ftp modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module I Mar 16 05:21:45 ftp sharity[4792]: [1] sysNetworkInterfaces: ioctl(I, SIOCGIFFLAGS): [19] No such device Mar 16 05:21:45 ftp modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module B Mar 16 05:21:45 ftp sharity[4792]: [1] sysNetworkInterfaces: ioctl(B, SIOCGIFFLAGS): [19] No such device
The lines always appear in groups of four as above and the interval between
them is 5 minutes. Looking at the cfg file, this appears to be happening
when Sharity reparses the config file every 5000ms. Any ideas what Sharity
is looking for that's missing from my system?
This is a (harmless) bug in the most recent non-beta Sharity releases. You can either ignore it or use 2.9 beta 2 (which is available in source code only) from our web site.
Although this is a beta version, we don't expect any problems with stability.
Regards, Christian.
