Hi folks, excuse this off-topic mail.

I'm (again) realizing that I read far too many mailing lists, which in fact leads to me NOT really reading them. Like this one. ("What was 'Sharity' again?" Forgive me, it seems that currently I have no use for this probably fine piece of software.)

Now I tried unsubbing from this list via the link supplied at the bottom of every list mail but, alas, there were only options to change to digest or single mails!

At least my eyes didn't find any "unsubscribe" option there. Also, I can't find the welcome message (which I usually archive very responsibly and which usually describe the unsubscribe procedure.

Can any of you please supply me with the correct way?

No problem, I'll remove you manually. Just for the archives, here is how it works:

When you subscribe and also once a month you get a reminder message which tells you to which of our lists you are subscribed, which e-mail addresses you used and what your passwords are.

With this information you can go to the page http://at.obdev.at/mailman/listinfo/sharity-talk and log in (close to the end of the page: "edit options"). The standard mailman text does not list this at a very prominent place, I don't know why...

Once you are logged in, you can unsubscribe or change other options.

Regards, Christian.
