Hi Gavin,
sorry for the very long delay in letting your mail through to the list. Since you posted from an address which is not subscribed to the list, it was classified as spam and thus held back.

I've Googled and searched the mailing list to no avail.
I'm on FreeBSD 5.4, and any attempt to use cifsstore results in the

I have no capability to use the GUI -- I'm assuming that I can use
cifsstore via the command-line without the GUI. Can I?
If not, how else can I store login credentials from the command-line?

The error message is somewhat confusing. It should better read "Referenced object not found". The command line and graphic user interface both use the same functions to manipulate internal state and thus give the same messages.

Yes, you can use 'cifsstore' from the command line. However, the error message says that the login you want to store was not found. Please use 'cifslist' to find out to which computers you are currently logged in. You can only store your own logins, not those for other users.

See 'cifslogin -man' and 'cifsstore -man' for more information about those commands.

Regards, Christian.
