But that's not "someone has to budge". I'm fine with you sticking to GPL -
but your statement was a bit of a contradiction.

We don't aim to convince anyone. If you like BSD, join Cosmos. If you like
GPL, join SharpOS. Pretty simple IMO.

It doesn't matter if Windows is 90% or 50%.. I think we can all agree
Windows is huge - calling it a "Select group of people" is not accurate.
Select group of people implies controlled and limited, neither of which is
accurate. Java is controlled by a select few companies. Windows is
controlled by an exclusive one. Windows USERS are not a select group of
users.

We have different development methodologies, that's fine. We don't support
Linux right now, we are upfront about that.

You use Linux. That's your choice, its not my place to tell you what to use
or not. But to say that because we don't support Linux we are limited to a
"select group" is disingenuous. That's like an hybrid car owner saying that
"only a select group of car owners can obtain refills at most of the worlds
petrol stations"
