There would be a significant demand them if they were priced on a reasonable level. The challenge is that they are an intricate design with small thin sections along the headlight buckets that most likely couldn't be replicated in fiberglass. The original grilles are made from injection molded plastic. The same project has been brought up before but I haven't seen any results from any others so far. Actually I'm in need of one myself for my 1987 CSX #172, but for now I'd be happy to find one that's heavily damaged on the passenger side so I can experiment on fusing it together with my original one that has driver's side damage.
