  The combination of the smoke, oil consumption, and the oil blowing
into the airbox does not sound good...especially when you speak of boost
being "pegged" on the 20 lb gauge.
  I had a similar symptom on a 90 TI Daytona, which ended up being a
piston with the upper ring land melted off...no piston parts bouncing
around, no damage to the head...just a ring land instantly vaporized and
swept out with the exhaust. Not even any damage to the turbo! Lean was
not mean!
