I have an early common block without the blockoff plate but also without the round bosses that stick out near the distributor. Its funny how some strange things get out from the factory.

I've seen a few '89 CSX' as well as a few 89 T2 cars with em. Somce Masi T2
cars have them also. I think they were all early production cars however.

Common blocks do not usually have a fuel pump block off plate,
as the factory did not add the hole for a manual fuel pump. The
early non-common blocks did have this hole.

How many people have seen a common block WITH a manual
fuel pump hole?
