I hate to say it guys, but I too have come across some white valve covers. I too have a white valve cover on one of my '88 Dodge Daytona Shelby-Zs, however it used to have black one on it before I got the white one off another one in a bone yard.
I broke the original black one on my white Daytona and purchased the white replacement one. It pisses me off and I think I will strip it and repaint it.
