1978 Dodge 024 (Charger body style) using the 1.7L VW places it in GT4
Using the 2.2L Dodge puts it into GT3 Currently set up as GT4 car. No engine. Shine Racing prepped VW trans. 4whl disks (to fit inside 13" wheels). Coil overs. Car is semi-tube chassis. 2" box for main chassis. Everything important (engine/drivetrain/suspension) mounts to tubes. Much uni-body still present to locate body-work. Car has fuel cell installed, but unsure of condition. Comes with fire system not installed. No seat, steering wheel, gauges. All body work in very usable condition. Big flares. All there, but could use some TLC. This car was purchased as a project that I have decided is not feasible (was going SPO w/ turbo 2.2L). Car needs engine and some other things to go racing, but has all the major stuff done from the previous owner. Essentially, you could drop an engine in the car and prep it for very little cost (but a lot of time). Car was campaigned in New England and up and down the East Coast in the early 90's. Has been to Run-Offs several times (unsure of finishing positions). I do have a dual-sidedraft Solex setup for the car, and I have one or two sets of wheels (might be included in package depending on $$). Some spares available. One set of wheels are VERY Light 13x7 Ronal Turbos (mag center). Car still for sale, and price reduced to- $1000 w/ no wheels and no carbs $550 for wheels (will sell separately) $200 for carbs/manifold (will sell separately) $500 for nice little trailer that's made for the car. 2" box tubing frame, single axle, wood deck (stays until car is sold) $2000 for whole package (car, wheels, carbs/manifold, and trailer). Delivery available to Mid-Atlantic area. Any reasonable offer considered, because this thing HAS to go! Trades/partial trades might also be considered, so try me... Looking for pit items like 4 wheeler, pit box, enclosed trailer , generator... Or would love to trade for 95-99 SSC Dodge/Plymouth Neon in reasonable condition.
