Hi All, I'm trying to fix my Moms drivers door window. It's an 89, 2dr Shadow. There's a piece of plastic that's riveted to the top/back of the glass. This piece rides on some sort of track on the back side of the frame around the glass. The plastic is broken. I'm not sure what it's supposed to look like. The track seems to be in bad shape also. Has anyone ever fixed something like this. I've never seen anything like it. Can the piece be purchased new? Can a replacement be pulled easily off a junk car? It almost looks easier to just put a different door on it. It looks as though just adding the piece of plastic might not do the trick and may break again do to the track being broken. Or at least, in rough shape. Anyone have any ideas what I can do?
