Yes it will fit.  No, you'll need new axles (87 and newer autos = bigger
inboard splines, wider diff housings).  You can use 1990 Omni
w/automatic axles or modified minivan axles (cut and rewelded 1"
shorter) Many use two driver's side axles with a standard K-based
car/van intermediate shaft, this helps keep torque steer down a little.

I believe you'll also need an Omni/Charger Auto transmission mount,
unless someone can confirm they are the same?  I know the manual
transmission mounts are different between the cars (offset is different
in the bracket, but the rubber insert is the same)

Make sure the gearing will work for your needs.  A set of 1.22 transfer
gears really wakes the auto cars up.

Lock-up for the turbo cars didn't come into being until 1991.  The TBI
received it in 90 maybe?  The V-6's went to the 4-speed A-604, which is
not an easy swap by any means :)
