Hmm, I've heard of both being used, but I've only ever seen the solid
rubber "dogbone" on all of my cars (which includes every single year of
the Shelby Charger 83-87 and the GLH 84-86)  If your car was converted
to use an A-520/555/523/568 then you'd probably have the strut style
mount, but you'd also have an extra tab installed on your K-member.

After further research I remember some people stating that there was a
parts bin "upgrade" available.  A small engine stabilizer from a Jeep
will bolt into place and supposedly works better, but I'd rather buy a
poly-urethane unit form Johnny since I know it works :)

On my 86 Turbo SC, it is a mini shock absorber at the lower rear of the
transaxle.  Bobble Strut??
