I have my 84 Rampages original water pump housing, its really corroded out badly at the bottom out/inlet I have a 85 Daytona Turbo Z housing in great condition, but noticed a difference between the two.. The Rampage housing is identical to the 85 Daytona Turbo Z's except it has an extension molded into the housing design that reduces it down to a smaller dia.. It looks like If I were to use a hack saw and cut off that extension, it would be the exact same as the 85 Daytona Turbo Z's housing.. I plan on running a Shelby Charger style coolent style system to make replacment stuff easy to deal with, but are the hoses on the Shelby Chargers pump housing larger than the carburated coolent systems housing? Are the hose diametors the same for the housing as 85 Daytona Turbo Z's vs the Shelby Chargers? (hoses are specific designs, got that covered) heres a picture to show what im talkin about..
