Not sure if you knew already or not, but there is already a SDAC chapter that covers Washington and Oregon. The PNW-SDAC. Http://www.pnw-sdac.org is our club's website and you can sign up for the mailing list on the front page if you're interested. There are a number of Washingtonians on our mailing list as well as a number of us from Oregon that travel up to Washington from time to time.
We're always looking for help with the club so if you'd like to join up and focus on helping the Washingtonians become more active locally as well as regionally we'd love to have you in the club. IF you still wanna do your own thing, no problem you'll still welcome to be a part of the club. We're all fellow car guys, right?
