I found out the oreilys can get a cast crank cast # 4448493 but can't get the forged steel crank cast $ 4a6-23252. I will go for the cast crank for 89 daytona shelby TII. What I want to know is that the right cast crank that will fit my car? I know that the 87-88 steel crank has a smaller snout for the sprocket. Will my sprocket fit the cast iron crank or do I have to find a crank sprocket to fit it? I hate to order it and find out that my sprocket doesn't fit. Thanks Larry It mite help if you specify at least a 1990 2.2 engine cast crank so you dont end up with some 88 or older stuff.. Just a thought.. Make sure they get you the common block style or maybe get a chrysler part number for the cast one for cross refference?.. Maybe they have a catalog to ID it just for reassurance.. all your stuff will bolt right up to the cast style common block crank.. You also mite be saving yourself a little rotational mass with the cast vs. forged. Not much to notice, but it cant hurt :) Chris Pauluk - Modesto CA. 1984 Dodge Rampage "Ramlet" _www.cardomain.com/id/solo2rampage_ (http://www.cardomain.com/id/solo2rampage) -----------------------REMOVE-FOOTER-WHEN-REPLYING---------------------------- Questions?
