Jeff:
Take a look at the Fiero mesh wheels.
They are 5 on 100 mm bolt pattern so this will require the 5 bolt
conversion.
They bolt up to the minivan hubs fine with a bit of grinding on the
calipers.
This gets you a 7 inch wheel in a 15 inch diameter and several upgrade
paths for brakes.
225/50-15 tires should be fine with this wheel.
I would leave the huge wheels for the ricer crowd, but if you go 5 bolt
the later PT Cruiser and/or SRT4 wheels will work. Some are 16 or 17 inch.
hope this helps

Subject: SD> wheel sizing and lowering advice
I now want to lower my 85 Dodge 600 turbo. I also want to go with a
bigger rim
and low profile tires.
My concern is getting the wheel offset right and can I go up to a 17 or 18
inch wheel and still not hit the fenders when I hit a big bump. The 85 600
convertible front fenders are almost straight above the tires outer most
tread.
I think maybe a wheel with more back set might allow for a bigger rim and
lowering? I still want a wheel that has a bit of or as much dish as I
can get.
The stock pizza wheels have about an inch and a half of dish. I do not like
the looks of many of the front wheel drive rims because they have no
dish at
all.
I also wonder if just cutting the springs will work ok for lowering. The
front
end of the K body 600 has always set higher then the back. I want to
level it
out as well as lower front and back.
Any thoughts , advice? Wasn't there somebody on this group who had lowering
springs for the K body cars?
