He's probably using MegaSquirt (http://www.msefi.com) or perhaps another aftermarket EFI solution that includes a distributorless ignition solution.
MegaSquirt is one of the cheapest and its open-source nature makes it one of the more adaptable. You do however, get to tune and install everything yourself and on a turbo car that can get expensive as you will likely burn up at least one or two headgaskets if not an entire motor. EDIT: Just read Kevin's profile on Turbo-Mopar.com and he is running SDS-EFI on his car. The tuning is still critical and time consuming (though less so if you use a wideband oxygen sensor and data-log the outputs from the sensors) Hope this helps, Stefan Mullikin Portland, OR PNW-SDAC Founding Member 1979 Porsche 924 (Carrera GTS Replica) 1980 Fiat X-1/9 (never ending 2.2 turbo swap) 1987 Plymouth Sundance Turbo (Daily Driver) 1987 Shelby CSX #106 -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: "Thomas Tancula" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Help me out on this one...how did you eliminate the distributor? > > TNT > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Tuesday, May 15, 2007 7:46 PM > To: shelby-dodge@imagicomm.com > Subject: SD> For Sale: Wrinkle Finished Turbo Valve Cover > > I am selling my wrinkle finished turbo valve cover.
