I will be making them again, but it will take a few weeks.
I just made a bunch for the cast arm cars. Those are next.

Isn't there a pick-pull yard near you?

Subject: SD> Daytona Sway Bar Help

Hi all,

As some of you may remember, I discovered that my factory sway bar on my
1990 Daytona Shelby (early style stamped control arms and 1.25"
diameter) is shot. I ordered a replacement through FWD (Spiva's bar)
awhile back. I just received an email from Johnny today saying that he
didn't have any of those already made in stock, sorry. I take that to
mean that he doesn't plan on having any either, at least for a very long
time. The car is off the road, and I ruined the bushings on the old
sway bar getting them off. It's been off the road long enough that I
really need to get it back together. The sway bar is the only thing
left. I do not want to replace it with another worn bar. I guess end
links would be nice, but I would also be happy with a stock style one.
Chrysler, of course, doesn't have any more sway bars.

Does someone have another source for these bars? I can't remember the
old emails, but is there a bar out there that I can purchase new and cut
the ends off to make it fit the Daytona? Slant 6 Dan suggested some
repair options for the old bar that I might resort to if I must, but
I've done everything else on the whole suspension rebuild "right", and I
really want to do this right as well. So, to sum up...Help! I need to
find a new bar. :-) Thanks!
