                       MESSAGE FROM THE SECRETARIAT
                        Monday June 4th 2012 - 13th Rajab 1433

                              As'salaam-u-Alaikum,
"Live amongst people in such a manner that if you
die they weep over you and if you are alive they crave for your company"
                              - Imam Ali (a.s.)

On behalf of the Executive Committee and their
families, the Secretariat would like to wish the membership Khushali Mubarak on
the auspicious occasion of the birth of our first Imam, Imam Ali (a.s.).
Imam Ali (a.s.) is one of the most important
personalities in the Islamic religion. As the only person born in the Holy
Kabaa, his place and status in the formation and upbringing of the religion of
Islam was set from birth.

At this time, let us take a moment to re-visit
and ponder upon the wisdom given to Imam Hassan (a.s.) and Imam Hussain (a.s)
for the ummah in the last will of Imam Ali (a.s.)
"My advice to you is to be conscious of Allah and
steadfast in your religion. Do not yearn for the world, and do not be seduced
by it.Proclaim the truth; work for the next world. Oppose the oppressor and
support the oppressed.Maintain communication and exchange of opinion among
yourselves. Beware of disunity and enmity. Do not desist from promoting good
deeds and cautioning against bad ones."

                       Quote of the Week

"Justice also has four aspects; depth of
understanding, profoundness of knowledge, fairness of judgement and clearness
of mind; because whoever tries his best to understand a problem will have to
study it, whoever has the practice of studying the subject he is to deal with,
will develop a clear mind and will always come to correct decisions, whoever
tries to achieve all this will have to develop ample patience and forbearance
and whoever does has done justice to the cause of religion and has led a life
of good repute and fame"
                              - Imam Ali (a.s.)
