Ouch, there were a number of fixes to the clipboard code in 0.9.x, but those were for win32 clients. I didn't think those would affect Linux clients...
First, please take a look at: http://xpra.org/trac/wiki/Clipboard Bear in mind that a number of things can interfere with the clipboard code: KDE's klipper, VMs (VirtualBox, etc), synergy,..
