First, make sure you are using the best encoding for your setup: http://xpra.org/trac/wiki/Encodings#ChoosinganEncoding Then have a look at your session information to figure out where the latency is coming from. (even more details in "xpra info") In, v0.11 there is graph showing you precisely where latency is coming from.
