Hi, Based on my bug report (http://xpra.org/trac/ticket/798) I am confused by Xinerama and want to resolve my misunderstanding before continuing with the bug report.
When exactly would I need Xinerama? In my setup, I usually have a Linux xpra server and connect via Windows clients where the Windows clients usually have multiple displays which dynamically change (Laptop with different docking stations on different external monitors or no external monitor at all). As I understand I did not use Xinerama at all - so far. So do I need Xinerama in this setup? Do I want it? Why? Second, do I understand correctly that the fakelibXinerama is included automatically in the stable CentOS repositories? At least it is installed on my system: # yum list | grep -i xinerama libNX_Xinerama.x86_64 3.5.0.27-1.el6 @epel libXinerama.i686 1.1.3-2.1.el6 @base libXinerama.x86_64 1.1.3-2.1.el6 @base libXinerama-devel.x86_64 1.1.3-2.1.el6 @base libfakeXinerama.x86_64 0.1.0-3.el6 @winswitch libNX_Xinerama.i686 3.5.0.27-1.el6 epel libXinerama-devel.i686 1.1.3-2.1.el6 base Thanks, Lukas _______________________________________________ shifter-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.devloop.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/shifter-users
