all,
i just found (and fixed!) one of the lamest bugs i've created in years;
fortunately it was pretty harmless, but had to have annoyed a lot of
people over time (myself included).
turns out that the shimmer UserButtonP module, which debounces the
signal by pausing 250ms before notifying the application that i has
received a button press, wasn't disabling the button while it waited.
needless to say, this caused some weirdness that people probably blamed
on the button itself.
all of our platforms are affected, so this repair covers them all.

cd ~/tinyos-main/tos/platforms/shimmer
svn update
apologies to anyone who was driven crazy by this!
