Hi, for synchronizing the shimmer2R with other sensors I´d like to set the timestamp of the data to GPS time.
1) GPS in docking station 2) GPS in shimmer module 1) Shimmer documentation: "The Shimmer Dock has recently been updated to include a GPS module. The GPS module will transmit serial GPS NMEA sentences to the docked Shimmer's external connector UART lines. This data can be used for application synchronization or localization." So, it should be possible to receive GPS signal with the docking station and set the time of the module accordingly. The problem is that the GPS LED of the docking station doesn´t stop blinking green (=> doesn´t get a fix). 2) Alternatively, I could use the GPS board directly at the Shimmer. I cannot find any information which software is necessary to configure the shimmer accordingly. Shimmer connect doesn´t provide a GPS option for the configuration. Has anybody used GPS@Shimmer before?
