Resolution: Won't Fix
The location attribute is google proprietary (for the igoogle "mapplets"
feature). This may make it into the specification in the future, but as of this
moment it is not a part of the gadgets spec. See
http://code.google.com/apis/gadgets/spec.html
When and if the maps feature is standardized, we can discuss implementing it in
Shindig. In the meanwhile you might want to bring up standardizing this feature
on the spec discussion group at
http://groups.google.com/group/opensocial-and-gadgets-spec
