I have been trying to add preferences to gadgets in my own container but seem to have hit the same problem with shindig's use of gmodules that was discussed before [1]. That post and another [2] both mention the metadata service, but I don't know what that is exactly. What is the metadata service? Would that allow me to add preferences to my gadgets?
