I think svn is good as it stands and all it needs is a
mvn site:deploy -Prelease
in stage 4
?
ie, deploy the site to the 'release' location
I will re-run the release and see what happens.
I will first re-deploy the branch site.

as per step 4 in [1]
So AFAICT the url will be the distro management site url from the
default
profile
