Shindig currently does not have any built-in groups support though you can
certainly add your own API handlers to do this. There have been no updates
to the specification for 0.9 primarily because groups is one area of the
spec that most containers have gotten by without supporting it. As the
concept gains more traction among containers/apps Im sure this area will get
more attention.
