Hello all, I wanted to introduce my team to this project. I represent a group of developers at eBay who have been using Shindig as a gadget server for several projects. Our most visible project is our Selling Manager application http://developer.ebay.com/products/selling-manager-applications/ where we encourage 3rd party developers to contribute gadgets. Our particular interest lies in the core gadgets area and in the Java implementation. After a number of months of working with the Shindig code and Guice framework, I believe that we are ready to become involved and will hopefully be able to contribute to the overall effort. Just to get our feet wet with the contribution process, and since we use IBM JVM for our servers, I have produced a patch file that fixes some test failures related to differences between Sun and IBM. https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SHINDIG-1068 The fixes were generally in the test code itself, as the expected results differ slightly.
