I'm having some confusion. So I was wondering some things :
1. Is there any reason that hte project download site can't include downloads for the 1.1 BETA3 and BETA4, as well as the current trunk? 2. Could we remove SNAPSHOT word from releases generated via a tag (BETA3 and BETA4)? 3. Could the BETA5 tag be removed from the trunk only shindig-1.1-incubating-SNAPSHOT? 4. Could the tagging process for a BETA or RC or for the final version include generating artifacts and deploying them to the maven repository and to the download site? There's some messiness here, and when I pointed someone at BETA3, they ended up with a different war file. We tracked it to the maven site. I know when I first generate BETA4 for inclusion in some of our work, the generated war was completely different than the one I generate now. That was non-obvious at first. -- David S Boyer
